We collect as little data as possible.
What we collect
- Affiliate link clicks. When you click a
/go/…link we record which offer was clicked, the page it was on, the referring page, the time and your approximate country. We do not store your IP address or set cookies for this. - Server logs. Our web server keeps standard technical logs for security for a short period.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message only to answer it.
Cookies and preferences
SolRoads does not set tracking or advertising cookies. We remember your chosen language and destination in your browser (cookies named lang and place, and local storage) so the site opens the way you left it. These are functional preferences, not tracking. When you follow an affiliate link, the company’s website may set its own cookies to credit the booking, and its privacy policy applies there.
Saved pages. If you tap the heart to save a guide or place, the list is kept only in your browser’s local storage (key saved) on this device. It is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data deletes it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Write to us via the contact page.
