SolRoads helps you rent a car in Spain and Portugal without surprises at the rental desk. Most car hire complaints are not about the car. They are about a deposit you didn’t expect, a fuel charge, an insurance upsell or a toll bill weeks later. We explain those rules in plain language before you book.
What we do
- Airport guides. For the big holiday airports we explain where the rental desks are, how off-airport shuttles work and what to check before you book.
- Rules explained. Deposits, fuel policies, excess insurance, tolls and driving licences, from the companies’ own terms and from government and consumer sources.
- Company comparisons. Brokers and rental companies compared by their published terms, with links to the source.
What we don’t do
We don’t invent prices, star ratings or “we rented it” stories. Car hire prices change constantly, so instead of printing a price that will be wrong tomorrow, we link to live price searches. When we describe a company’s rules, we say where the information comes from and when we checked it.
